Coaches & Volunteers

Every WCV United team is led by a volunteer. No coaching experience required, just a willingness to show up for the kids.

Coaching at WCV United

Our coaches are parents, grandparents, and community members who raise their hand at registration time. You do not need playing experience or a license to coach rec soccer here. You need patience, reliability, and a good attitude. We will help with the rest.

How to Sign Up

Volunteer to coach during player registration in PlayMetrics, or contact the club any time
All coaches complete a background check before the season starts
Practices are two nights a week at times you choose
Games are Saturdays or Sundays

A note on contact info: we do not publish coach phone numbers on this site. All team communication runs through the PlayMetrics app, which keeps everyone's info private.

Referees

We need referees every season, and it is a great first job for older players and a solid way for adults to stay close to the game. If you are interested in officiating, reach out to the board and we will point you in the right direction.

Other Ways to Help

Not ready to coach? Clubs like ours run on small jobs done well: field setup, equipment, concessions when we have them, and sponsorships. Every bit helps keep fees low.
